Filmsail, that sucks that it is on the same weekend as the indiemeet. I would have liked to have gone for this premiere.

But cool that it is premiering and that you have a really cool place to show it!

Congrat's and hope it is a good, fun time for you.

Hi John,

Steph can't make it because she's singing with the worship team at her church on Sunday mornings... and Stephen's son is in an acting class in LA on Saturdays.

They are both thrilled that it's finished, think the premiere plans sound awesome and can't wait to see it, but they will have to wait until it's posted online. Let us know as soon as it's available... maybe we can watch it while we're in Vegas. That would be cool!

Hope you all have a great time and that the movie is a huge hit!!!!! Say hi to everyone for me, ok?

Damnit...
I'm working Saturday now.

Might be back by 5pm but I'm more than a bit of an ars after a 7 day work week... so in the interest of not ruining it for everyone I'd meet, I'm going to have to pass.

Really wanted to see this too...
and the premiere location, damn but that place looks awesome.

Ok so, Premiere is over and man was it great. We had a pretty good turnout and the short looked great. I will post pictures later of Marc, Sean, Vic and myself all standing in front of the theater with the name of the film up on the marquee. Man that was a surprise that they were able to get the whole title up there. It looked beautiful.

Marc came up from L.A. and presented us with some great 8x10 pictures of Indy as well as a very special 8x10 for everyone of the crew picture taken from the first shoot of the cast and crew that is now signed by Harrison Ford himself!

I have the dvd copies for everyone who worked on it as well as a few Harrison signed 8x10's for those who were in that first shoot. And finally I did an initial rip for the net but the file is HUGE! So set for save and walk away and come back and view later lol, but here it is....Enjoy!

Thanks Mike and Richard, has anyone tried viewing it yet? I am working on a more manageable file right now.

I was able to download it and it played a lot better.

Very cool and good job!

I noticed that you ended up leaving out some shots and re-shooting some scenes.
I didn't see the cars or maybe i missed them somehow.
The jump shot turned out good.

It's too late tonight but Jessica will watch it tomorrow. She still thinks Marc is cool.

Once again good job!

Yes that whole Sunday was scrapped and that is what we re-shot in March when Debbie came up. So no cars and that whole scene is only in the trailer.

That's a bummer it was scrapped, but the final still turned out good.

Jessica's comment - "That was soooo cool!"
I think the girls want you to make a feature Wink

Congrats on the premiere and finishing the film, John. That's always such an accomplishment!

Will you be doing a lot of promoting for it?

Must feel great.

Cheers,

Jeff Palmer

Thanks for the reply Jeff, it does feel very good.

Well going to put it up at The Raider.net which for obvious reason is a great place to have it. But yes I will look into any ComicCon or Fan film festival I can. But I guess mainly the journey for this film has ended.

I don't know what else is in store; I have heard rumor that the investor might be interested in something else, etc. But for now it was a fun chapter that has come to a close. I have 2 other shorts I need to dig out of the basement and complete before moving on to anything else.

and McClure, yes a feature would be nice....who knows.
