So, after over 2 years of working on this feature film, it was premiered here at Ohio Independent Film Festival on May 10 (sold out show) and May 11th.

The crowd enjoyed it, everyone walking out asking where they can buy a copy of the DVD and many said it's fantastic (I doubted they would tell me the truth in my face), or that they enjoyed it, I do know sadly, the video were a bit darker than usual (as we found out the bulbs were dying due to a week long usage at the festival).

We also heard from others that couldn't get the tickets due to sold out (in 6 hours back in Jan 2008), that it's a movie they shouldn't not missed.

One thing they all asked is will there be a sequel? Many non sci-fi fans also enjoyed it (apparently we DO have a story) and some comedy in it. Smile

So, after the first screening, we had a Reception Party at one of the partner's production studio, we got a camera that were shooting throughout and here's the highlights, please excuse the crowd that are in the way (since over 400+ people came to the Reception Party)

For those who can't view flash, I've posted some photos on my facebook account, here's the link (hope this work)

Overall, it was good Smile

So, what's next, a DVD set will be available for sale soon, which included the movie in 4x3 and 16x9 stereo format with comentary track, plus 1 DVD with over 2 hours of behind-the-scenes footages and 1 CD Soundtrack.

Link to order will be provided soon, for now, enjoy these videos (besides the reception party highlights, there are a few other stuff)

That's very cool Johnny. I'm glad to see another completed project and on to the next. I'm jealous Twisted Evil But I am sure you missed all the stress and pranks I bring to the set on this one. Next one Vegas huh maybe there I can get you again...this time maybe the camera flew out the back of the truck when I was driving to location Wink

Thanks John, don't make me call Chris to get you! Razz you know, on The Rapture, there isn't much pranks, but a lot more stress, everything that can go wrong, went wrong...

Very cool Johnny! and congrat's on the sell out!
Looks like you all had a good time at the premiere and reception.
That auditorium was cool, but the drummers were awesome!

Thanks Richard, Arya did a great job composing a score for The Rapture and then adapted for the Taiko Drummer to perform. Smile

OK, we got the page up, if you want to support us and can afford it, please do, here's the link with everything we have available for sale Smile

Now, as I always said, the movie definetely has it's downfall (especially if you are filmmaker, you would find things you like/dislike and things you would do differently), in general, we have had a lot more positive feedback then negative (*phew*) And those who saw it on the big screen at the premiere (the ones that 'nit-pick'), also like it overall, most intrestly, they all liked the story (beats me)

Anyway, enough of me babling, if you wish, please support, if not, just move on Smile

Johnny

Thanks Richard, if you find some typos, let me know so I can fix it, it's always a given that I keep finding typos... even on the posters after it was printed... Wink
